Municipal water is contaminated with pharmaceutical products, industrial pollutants, and microbes. Additionally, it is processed with endocrine-disrupting and neurotoxic fluoride and chlorine. This study looked at the association, in a New Jersey cohort, of birth defects with contaminated water.

I recommend reverse osmosis or Mountain Valley Spring Water, particularly for pregnant, nursing women, and babies.
